‘The nature of Sharia and its interpretation in Shi’i thought’ workshop
Held on the 17th to 18th August 2015, ‘The nature of Sharia and its interpretation in Shi’i thought’ workshop was a collaborative symposium between the Islam, Law and Modernity Centre of Durham University and Al-Mahdi Institute. With the aim of working towards developing an edited volume for comparative lawyers discussing contemporary thinking in Shi’i jurisprudence, Durham University hosted AMI faculty and affiliates to present and discuss their working papers.
Contributions are currently being finalized for publication by Prof. Micheal Bohlander & Laurens De Rooj (ILM, Durham) and Dr Ali-reza Bhojani (AMI).
