On Tuesday, 13 August 2013, Who Is Hussain – Birmingham had organised an Eid dinner for the Homeless including a 3 Course Meal, Entertainment and Gifts at the Digbeth Banqueting Hall.  The purpose of this event was to involve people giving back to those less fortunate in the community and hoping to spread a message of equality and brotherhood, bridging the gaps and differences in society.

Shaykh Arif Abdul Hussain of Al-Mahdi Institute was invited to give a speech at the beginning of the event where he spoke on Hussain’s compassion and selflessness. His speech was very well received by all present which included the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Salma Yaqoob, the volunteers and homeless.
