Muslim Youth Forum

On the 18th of October 2013, the Al-Mahdi Institute hosted the first ever Muslim Youth Forum in the UK inviting the leaders of approximately 15 different youth societies from around the Midlands.
This was an opportunity for them to meet under one roof, enabling them to build strong relationships with each other, share ideas, develop core skills of running an organisation and plan projects where they would work together.
The 24 hours that they were present, were packed with intensity, substance and enjoyment.
One of the participant of the forum, brother Ali Rezaei Yazdi expressed;
“Muslim Youth Forum provided an entertaining and attractive method of training and education by empowering the youth and creating a sense of family and ownership among them. This is something which has been long overdue, something that our Muslim community needed to have done long time ago.”
We would like to sincerely thank those who took time out from their busy schedules to participate in this event and made the most of it, whether it was as a volunteer or a delegate.
