On Monday 27th June 2016, AMI hosted Mr Asger Hassanali, director of the consultancy; AskAsger, to deliver a self-development workshop for AMI students and faculty. The workshop was well received by all and helped the participants to recognise their strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
A psychotherapist by profession, Mr Hassanali works mainly for the health and wellbeing of people and organisations. He is also a certified life and business coach and has mindfulness professional certificates from Breathworks (Manchester). His consultancy specialises in organisation development, headhunting and private counselling. It also provides a range of services and includes the development of all aspects in human resources.
The workshop included exercises, dialogue and discussions geared towards self-development. Participants were also given an assignment regarding the contents in Hadiths and in the Holy Quran.
